Wow! 

Something I love about the parenting blogger community is the way we support and shout out for each other. Be it sharing blog posts on twitter, commenting on blog posts or giving link up advice. And this award is another example of just how lovely we all are to each other.

Here are my answers to Amy's questions.

How long have you been blogging?

Since August 2013 when my little girl was 6 weeks old. 

What is your favourite blog to read at the moment?

Everything included on linkies I join! As a newbie reading a wide selection of blogs is helping me decide what I want to write about, the style of it and other links to join!

What is the one piece of advice you would offer to a new parent?

Don't expect too much of yourself or your baby too soon. It takes time to set to know your baby and to adjust to the demands of parenthood. 

What is the baby product you cannot do without?

Gosh. Currently it is teething gel and powders as L's teeth are causing her some discomfort. 

What age was baby when you moved then out of your room?

They are still in it currently! But she won't be for long as I think the crib is too small for her habit of sleeping on the diagonal!

What is your favourite meal?

Any where I have not cooked and do not need to do any washing up! Finding time or the inclination for chores is hard work.

What is your favourite online store?

I hate to say it but amazon. Due to some poor service I was gifted Prime and I love it! Next day delivery is great. I also own a kindle and am still amazed at the way my device links with my phone app.

What has been your best parenting moment?

Those days when I get the timings spot on for naps! No crying and no fuss nap time makes me feel like I know L and have everything under control. 

 

Where is the best place you have ever visited?

The Lake District. J and I went there on our first couples holiday. It rained every day but the beautiful unspoilt countryside made up for it. We had long morning walks, afternoon baths to warm up and dinners out. Loved up bliss.
