The Week That Was Spent Watching and Recording

I have spent the week with my camera.

It is not a good love story, there are frustrations and cross words and a lack of understanding. Neither side are properly listening to the other. The results of this are plain to see, may a rejected photograph with very few giving results I am happy with.

This weekend I stepped away from manual and into a Smart Photo Selector mode on my camera. While experimenting I watched my two favourite people.

I am happier with the outcomes of this setting, even if it means I have no real control over the picture.

But most importantly I love this record of Daddy and Daughter. She was so eager to join him, climbing into his lap to get a better view of what Daddy was doing. It is so lovely stepping back and watching these two. I can not wait to see their relationship develop further.

  4. The last two photos are really cute. And sometimes that's the most important thing, not the technique of the photo but the fact you captured a moment. x
